  • What is MEPAP
    The Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals (MEPAP) is the proprietary, evidence-based Core Curriculum required to earn certification with the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP). The MEPAP is structured as a two-part program involving a total of 180 hours of educational learning and 180 hours of experiential learning that includes practicum work. Each part consists of 90 hours of coursework and 90 hours of practicum assignments.
  • How Long are coarses?
    Courses take about 6 months (30 weeks) to complete depending on breaks due to holidays. If taking our fully online study at your own pace class, participants have one year to complete.
  • What is the format for the online study at you own pace class?
    Courses are made fully available on the first of the month The learning platform used for our courses is Moodle and access is included as part of the course tuition. Each course consists of 90 hours of online learning assignments and 90 hours of self guided practicum assignments. Each course consists of 30 learning sessions that participants will work on at their own pace. These sessions are broken up into 3 learning blocks. Participants have exactly 1-year to complete all learning and practicum assignments If students need more time, they can extend for another year for a $100 fee ​
  • What is the format for the face-to-face online class?
    Courses are presented in an online face to face format. The learning platform used for our courses is Moodle and access is included as part of the course tuition. Each course consists of 90 online face to face instruction hours and 90 hours of self guided practicum assignments. ·Each course consists of 30 learning sessions that are held on a weekly basis. These sessions are broken up into 3 learning blocks. Practicum assignments are assigned throughout the course and must be submitted within 1 year of beginning the course to receive a certificate of completion. ​
  • Is there a registration fee?
    There is a $50 non-refundable application fee. If accepted to a program that $50 will be applied to your total tuition costs. You can register and pay online, or send in a paper registration with cash or a check.
  • What are Sensory Products?
    ​Our sensory products provide sensory simulation for people of all ages. Our products include materials that stimulate all 5 senses to help trigger emotions and memories in those who have lost their ability to connect with the world around them.​5SensActivities offers both generic and custom made sensory bags, along with a variety of safe and person appropriate products that can be used in all care settings to enhance a persons quality of life. ​​To add a new question go to app settings and press "Manage Questions" button.
  • What is Sensory Stimulation?
    Sensory stimulation is important for people of all ages. Sensory activities use everyday familiar objects to arouse one or more of the five senses (hearing, sight, smell, taste and touch), with the goal of evoking an emotional response. Used in Europe since the 1960s, this therapy was originally designed to help people with learning disabilities. It was a way for them to explore a safe, stimulating environment that provided age-appropriate and enjoyable activity. ​

  • What is your return policy?
    Items that you wish to return must be returned within 30 days of the shipping date. Shipping must be paid by customer to return items. Refunds will be processed within two weeks of recieving the products back.
  • What if an Item is damaged?
    If one or more items is damaged during the shipping process please contact us via our contact page. We will send replacement items free of charge once proof of damage is recieved.
  • Do you do Bulk Orders?
    We do bulk orders! Place your order like normal through our Shop page on our website (Unless you would like to pay via invoice). We will send you a confirmation e-mail as well as an estimated delivery date. If you would like to place a larger order and pay by invoice, please follow the instructions on our contact page.
  • What if I need to pay by invoice?
    If you would like to pay via invoice please follow the instructions on our contact page. You can view all of our products in our store.
  • What payment methods are accepted?
    We accept all cards except american Express. We accept payments through paypal, and when ordering via invoice we allow payment through paper checks.
